If you live in Chicago, St. Louis, Austin or Brooklyn you need to get to the Califone show coming to your town in March.  Califone is a critically-acclaimed experimental post-rock band from Chicago.  Their most recent album, All My Friends are Funeral Singers, accompanies a full length film (of the same title) written and directed by Califone frontman Tim Rutili, which I was lucky enough to catch at the MCA this winter and which just premiered at Sundance to rave reviews.  They’re touring with their film, playing a live soundtrack to the film in their first set and then a shorter music-only set after – definitely a show not to be missed!
