I know it’s only Tuesday but I’m already counting down the hours until Saturday night when Boys Noize plays Chicago.  He was originally supposed to play the Aragon, which is one of the more fun and interesting venues in Chicago, but just this past week it got switched to the House of Rules – easily one of the least fun and least interesting venues in the country.  It’s basically the McDonalds of music venues – boring, rude and the exact same in every city.  While I’m more than a little bummed about the change, I’m still psyched for the show.  Check out “What You Want”, off his new album Out of Black, below.  It’ll wake you up better than a cup of coffee.

I’ve only recently become aware of Kate Moross, a designer and illustrator based in London, but I love her work.  It’s a little pop-y for my taste, at least normally, but something about it just works for me.
